Cajamarca, peru Dia 1

Paseo por la ciudad:

Debido a que este viaje surgió totalmente de imprevisto y tendría que pasar 16 largas horas sentada en un bus Lima- Cajamarca, elegí el siguiente outfit súper cómodo para el viaje y para conocer la ciudad, ¿Qué les parece?

El pantalón de buzo es comodísimo, se puede usar a la cadera también, pero a mí me encanta la onda ochentera y usar todo a la cintura, creo que resalta mucho mas la forma de mi cuerpo, pruébenla les garantizo resultados exitosos!!

En la ciudad de Cajamarca visité el Cuarto del rescate y el Conjunto monumental de Belén, además de la Silla del Inca; todo esto tiene un costo de S/.6.00 casi $ 3.00 en total.¡Increible !

Walk the City:

So this trip came completely unexpected, I had to be 16 hours on a bus from Lima to Cajamarca, so I choose the most comfortable outfit for the trip and for walking the city ¿what do you think?

The sweat pants are so comfy, you can also wear them at your hips but I love the 80's way, wearing everything on the waist, I think this way flatters my body shape; you should try it, I guarantee successful results!

In Cajamarca City I went to The Rescue Room from Inca Atahualpa and The Monumental Collection of Belen and The Inca's Chair; all of that costs S/. 6.00 Almost $ 3.00 in total. ¡Amazing!

Katheryn Berrios, diseñadora peruana de 29 años, nos presenta una colección libre de prendas únicas, inspirada en la simetría, juego de colores y en la transgresión de cortes y formas.Hace uso de la metamorfosis de las prendas (de pantalón a polo).

She uses metamorphosis of garments, like becoming a pair of pants into a shirt.

The fabric that she uses goes from denim to silk, she loves to mix and bend rules. 

Her goal is to design and travel all around the world showing her art.

Una pizca de inspiración ...

Hoy compré mi tan ansiada entrada para el  evento del año, Perú Moda y Perú Gift 2011, y además me encuentro en la gran hazaña de conseguir invitaciones para los desfiles, ya tengo algunas pero sigo en la carrera para poder darles una información mas completa del evento.

Por lo pronto les comento al tener la entrada en mis manos sentí un gran nudo en el estómago; y ahora ¿Qué me pongo? Pues dije manos a la obra y fui en busca de inspiración.

Aquí les muestro la pizca de inspiración a la que no pude resistirme.

Today I bought my so wanted ticket to event of the year: Perú Moda y Perú Gift 2011, and I’m also in the running towards getting as much fashion show invitations as I can, I have I few but I’m still trying to get more in order to give you a complete report of the event.

I have to tell you that as soon as I got the ticket in my hands I felt anxious in my stomach; and now, what should I wear? Well I thought there’s no time to waste and I started looking for a drop of inspiration.

Here is the drop of inspiration that I couldn’t resist.

Fashion Styling y El Boom de las Fashion Bloggers

El sábado 16 de abril se realizó el evento en el Centro Cultural Ricardo Palma en Miraflores, llegué muy temprano en la mañana para empaparme del tema.

La primera parte del evento nos hablaron acerca del fashion styling, como vender un producto, diseñadores de ropa, backstage de desfile de modas, en fin, fue una mañana llena de información súper interesante, que me hizo pensar que quizá mi vocación sea el diseño de modas, todavía estoy explorando esa opción, vamos a ver si me decido… 
Tana Rendón fue la encargada de esta primera parte, conoce muchísimo sobre el tema, las invito a seguir su blog Le Coquelicot.

Luego tuvimos un amistoso coffe break, donde las presentadoras y bloggeras aprovecharon para conocer a su público y lectoras; seguidamente pasamos a la segunda y última parte del evento donde las bloggeras más leídas de lima nos contaron ¿Por qué crearon un blog?, ¿Qué beneficios les ha traído? y sus blogs favoritos.

Sobre esta segunda parte me gustaría destacar la participación de Milagros Plaza del blog Style in Lima ella nos contó como ella veía la moda desde su antigua casa España, y la diferencia que hay con la sociedad limeña, y es que es verdad, nuestra sociedad tiene muchos prejuicios y parámetros establecidos al vestir y comportarse, y Milagros no dudó en ningún momento en alentarnos a ser quienes queramos ser, sin importar la edad ni condición, no importa si eres mamá, si tienes 30 años, ella nos invita a romper paradigmas y a amar lo que nos gusta, a lucirlo. Gracias Milagros, escucharte me inspiró mucho, y estoy segura que a todas las demás asistentes también.

Al final del evento se realizó un sorteo y me gané una hermosa blusita rosada de Bo'hem, pronto crearé un outfit y se las mostraré :)

Para mí este evento fue todo un éxito y espero que se repita.

On Saturday 16th the event took place at the cultural center of the university Ricardo Palma at Miraflores, I arrived really early; I didn’t want to miss anything.

The first part of the event was about fashion styling, how to sell your product, fashion designers, backstage of a fashion show; it was a morning full of valuable information that made me think that maybe my vocation is to be a fashion designer, I’ll study this option and let you know.

Tana Rendon was in charge of the first part, she knows a lot about fashion I invite you to follow her blog Le-Coquelicot.

After that we had a friendly coffee break were the bloggers introduced them self to their readers and fans, took some pics and chat, I had a really nice time.

Then the last part of the event, the bloggers came to the stand and talked about what made them decide to star a fashion blog, what benefits have they achieved and which are their favorite fashion blogs. 

From this part I’ll like to emphasize the participation of Milagros Plaza from the blog Style in Lima.

She told us about fashion in her last home Spain, and the difference that she notice when she moved back to Lima, and I think it’s true, here society is full of prejudice and established parameters in the way you dress and behave.

But Milagros encourage us to be who ever we want to, forgetting about age, condition, if you are a mom or 30 years old, she invite us to break stereotypes, to love what we like and show it to the world.

Thank you Milagros, listening to you inspired me.

At the end of the event the exhibitors made a draw of prices and I won a beautiful pink blouse from Bo'hem, I will soon create an outfit with it and post it for you.

For me this event was a success, don’t miss the next one.

RSVP by MB en EL Polo II

El Jueves 14 de Abril fue la Inauguración de la segunda tienda RSVP en el Polo II les comento la aventura.

La tienda estaba llena de arreglos florales y felicitaciones, Maricel Ballester, dueña de la marca, estaba espectacular con un vestido azul eléctrico y una trenza súper trendi. ¡Preciosa!

La tienda es igual de acogedora que la de Miraflores, la ropa y accesorios son inigualables, hay cosas que no encontrarías en ningún otro lugar, se las recomiendo totalmente; además todo lo de verano esta en súper oferta hasta con el 70 % de descuento!!! Apúrense chicas !!

On April 14th took place the opening of a second store of RSVP by Maricel Ballester (owner), the store is located in EL POLO II here comes the insight

The store was full of flowers and congratulations, the owner, Maricel Ballester was wearing a beautiful electric blue dress with a sexy hair style. She was Gorgeous!!

The store is as cozy as the first one located in Miraflores, the clothes and accessories are like no place else, you can find things here that you would never find somewhere else, I complete recommend the store. Besides all summer clothing is on sale up to 70% discount!! So hurry up!!
